I would really like to meet you and the boys. With luck, I will still be around the area--72 this July, hope for a lot more years!! :-))))))) Regards, Paul |

I'd love to take a trip with them to Oshkosh but there's no way their patience will hold up anytime soon. Marco |

Last June I took my then 8 year old and 6 year old boys on a flight across the US, from NY to Denver, to spend a week with my brother's family. A portable DVD player with two screens (ala Target for US $100) on the back of the front seats that interfaced into the audio panel, a hand-held Nintendo DS, and a backpack of books (and a porta-potty) held their interests for the two 3.5 hour legs out and back. We also brought along a light cooler full of drinks and snacks. Oshkosh would be an excellent trip with the children but under 5 years old would be a challenge, I will admit. ![]() -- Peter |

I had the DVD thing going for a two-hour trip last year with the two and four year olds. Unfortunately the Warrior doesn't have headrests so the wife had to hold it for a while... Pretzels and chocolate milk were on the menu and by the end of the trip, on my Jepps as well. I'm thankful for the 40 free replacements they allow per year. Marco |

I thought after that I'd need one of those tranqullizer dart guns. Oh, and he also learned if he was alone in back shifting, fast, from side to side was fun, too. I'd give almost anything for an hour or two more of those times. |

In keeping with the spirit of this thread, I've started to drool after...err..I mean look at airplanes with expanded seating capacity. Fixed gear Saratogas look inviting but those six-figure price tags keep bringing me back to reality. Marco |

While the aircraft does have a fifth and sixth seat option, they are not installed currently and I am a bit hesitant in doing so given that they are installed in the luggage area. That bridge will need to be crossed shortly. -- Peter |
