My first CFI (of four along the route to my PPL...) had another
student starting at about the same time I did and he turned out to be a very wealthy business person who eventually hired away my CFI to be his Corporate Pilot / Personal CFI. Not long after leaving the FBO, the student/boss hauled off and bought a brand new Piper Meridian. For the Student/Boss, not a bad way to train... For the CFI/Corporate Pilot, not a bad way to build hours... Jay B |
