Hopefully the FAA put performance measures in the contract and LM is being
dinged in the pocket book for its bad performance.

They did, and they have.

Wanna' bet how much money actually changes hands?

Tell us what the contractual stiplations are, then we can place our bets.

I was reading in AIN about companies that got hit for a half-million $$$ for
trivial paperwork errors.

Last year the IRS screwed up our taxes (transposed two digits of our Tax ID
#); it cost me $6,000 in fees for my CPA to track down the error (certainly
the IRS wasn't about to admit their mistake) and straighten them out. Wanna
guess how much the IRS offered to refund to us for THEIR bad performance?

I ain't bettin cause I probably already owe Jim at least one beer, but
my first guess is NO money has actually changed hands. In fact if
Lockmart is screwin them as good as it appears they will demand
damages to cover their "good" name. G
