A long time ago I gave up on expecting people who do unusual things to be
politically correct.

one of the vilest *******s of his time.

Not only was he virulent racist and anti-semite, he was also a sympathizer
of
the nazis and an admirer of Hermann Goering.

Besides, he was also a womanizer, who fathered three *******s from women
other
than his wife (including her sister), and who never had the guts to live
up to
his acts.

Those kids had to wait for DNA analysis in 2003 to have the filiation
proven in
court.

Some kind of hero...

On the attached photo, Lindbergh is receiving a medal and a sword from his
friend, Reichsmarschall Hermann Goering.

If having high moral and ethical standards is the definition of
"politically correct" then I'll take it. Lindbergh was a fine aviator
but a man of marginal integrity. Saying "his failings make him human"
lets him off the hook too easily. Forgetting to zip up one's fly is a
human failing; being a Nazi-sympathizing bigot and cheating on one's
wife is something else altogether.

OK! OK!
You can have all the girls that want a stick in the mud.
I have all I can handle with the girls that want a high flying adventurer.
