How long after you quit does it take for your insides to look better?

Varies according to how much smoke done-gone-in and for how long.
One thing is for certain, things start improving immediately. Just some
things may not get completely repaired.

Well, I quit smoking 21 years ago. Best think I ever did, and I hope
my lungs are nice and pink again.

But all these stupid laws making it a crime for people to smoke --
OUTSIDE, now, for chrissakes -- is just sickening.

I was visiting a friend at the hospital last week, and noticed that
they have now banned smoking OUTSIDE the hospital. All these poor
people, some in wheel chairs, must now push themselves OFF HOSPITAL
PROPERTY to have a smoke!

Un-friggin'-believeable. How did this kind of society develop when we
weren't looking? Big Brother really is now EVERYWHERE.

I am in favor of No-Smoking legislation.

However, before any bill gets passed, the State must get off all of the tax
monies smoking generates. All of it ...cold turkey. That amount of lost
revenue gets slashed from the budget ...again, cold turkey. No new taxes are
allowed, to make up for the deficit. Programs must be cut!

And that will NEVER happen.

I'm a three-or-four a day smoker.

No, not packs....these: http://tinyurl.com/29x54e

Inhale one of these and it's ALL OVER.

Better than drugs and damn near as expensive.

You were looking in the wrong places. It started over 150 years ago.

Big Brother really is now EVERYWHERE.

Yup...and he's not going away.

So....?

anyone could put something like that in their mouths, but I've got
friends who swear by them...

Turd, my ass (oopps, that didn't come out right...I mean...oh, never mind)

More like a very fine wine or superior brandy.

Not quite everywhere, but it's headed in that direction.

There are still some people who do not have GPS enabled cell phones.

My neighbor was telling me that she had heard of a device that goes on a
keychain that you can give to your kids to keep track of them in case of an
abduction. She said the current version is essentially a memory stick where
you can keep vitals and such for the police to react quickly, but they are
working on a GPS unit that will "LoJack" the kids.

I said all they have to do is embed the chip in the kids hand, call it a
Logan, and they can kill everyone off at 31.

As long as I don't have to have one.

When you get your annual flu shot they insert nano tracking devices the
batteries in these devices only last approximately 1 year, That is why they
always tell you to be sure to get your flu shot early!!!
