Well, how about it? What did everyone buy for their plane, or for your renting planes, this year at OSH? Well, the Flying Tigers portrait is gonna look nice in the Flying Tigers Suite. But Montblack, or Paul-Mont, hasn't delivered our bundle of J-3 Cub ribs yet... (We always buy ribs at the FlyMart, for use as "art" around the hotel.) Seriously, this was the first year I bought absolutely nothing for the plane. Not so much as a landing light. First time in 9 years of ownership. -- Jay Honeck Iowa City, IA Pathfinder N56993www.AlexisParkInn.com "Your Aviation Destination" Funny, the only thing I bought for my plane was a landing light (burned out on the way in). I've got it on the market now, so I'm trying to limit my purchases until I figure out what I'll be flying next. Lots of airplanes to look at though, fortunately I didn't leave with more planes than I arrived with. Eric Bartsch 1959 Pilatus P-3 A-848 http://www.hometown.aol.com/bartscher/P3A848.html |

I'm going from the warbird to something that is more useable for family transportation. Gross weight might actually go down, but interior capacity will have to go way up. I have to sell the current plane before really looking at anything different. My long list of candidates includes 182, 210, Lance, Cherokee Six, 206, SR20/22, Seneca, Malibu (all depends on whether it is a partnership or an outright purchase). Probably one of the more schitzophrenic lists of possible aircraft. My wife favors the Malibu, but that depends on finding 2 or 3 partners who want the same plane.
