I finished college after I was already in the workforce, going to school at
night after working a full time job during the day. I had to save up a
bunch of money to get started, and then had to pay off student loans for
about 10 years after I got my degree. Although I didn't have any help from
my parents, miraculously, I didn't have to live in a roach infested ****
hole like a pauper, either.

Why should my tax dollars be used to "invest" in someone who might get the
training and decide he'd rather not do it after 6 months?
