Exact point I was going to make. You take off at least once every flight anyway, so why worry about it? And as Matt says, running the engine before the oil has spread through it is probably a lot worse. When I was learing to start my fuel-injected engine, I ran it close to 2000rpm by accident after starting, a couple of times. That really bothered me and I expected John Deakin to show up and yell at me.
