It's been 40 years since I flew in South East Asia, but we always
found good thermal lift over Mugia and Ban Kori passes. There may still be a tow available at Vinh and a bunk house run by Hilton. :) JJ Asia? I have spotted a few in Austrailia, and there is certainly Omarama in NZ, but both are too distant for a weekend getaway. Are there any web sites which list global soaring sites? Sort of like SSA'shttp://ssa.org/sport/wheretofly.aspsite? Thanks, John "67" DeRosa As referenced by Wayne Paul above Nok Aviation have a great site This link on their site should be really usefulhttp://www.nokaviation.com/links.htm incidentally the Blanik and Cub were shipped out to them by my club 8 Ball Soaring Association here in the UK 2 years ago. |
