Heh.

With a reasonable headwind a Zenith CH701 could do it.

Yup... I agree, my Zenith 801 could pull that off....

Benwww.haaspowerair.com

Can the 801 match the performance of the 701? *While both at Max
Gross? *Curious.

Wil

Good question. All things considered I believe the 801 might be at a
slight disadvantage because it can haul a higher percentage of its net
weight. Now when you add "alot" of extra horsepower it increases the
performance drastically. Dont ask how I know. :)

Nevermind, I just read your site. If HaasPower is you, you're in
Wyoming.

I can just imagine the reaction in Manhattan to anyone trying it even
once, though. Especially a few blocks from the NYSE. Have you seen the
massive security on the streets around there? I wouldn't be surprised if
there were ground-to-air defenses of some sort hidden away as well.

(I often stay at a hotel around the corner from the exchange.)

It shows up on mapquest and google earth.

I think you misunderstood. There's no question the mockup exists on that
roof. The hypothetical reaction I was writing about was to the idea of
someone trying to land or take off with an actual aircraft (like the
Zenith CH701 someone suggested).
