![]() Oh, hell, I can't understand him either but he knows my language better than I know his, so let's at least try: I need some information about the take off & landing of a passanger plane.is there any particular distance upto which a plane has to travell before moving towards direction of its destination. It depends on the terrain, airspace and noise abatement procedures. A 747 will climb to a specific altitude above ground level so as not to rattle the suburbs. A Cessna will climb to an altitude that is at least 1000 feet above ground level, but might remain below a higher altitude if there is an airspace shelf belonging to a larger airport. (For example.) Or before landing do these planes come to a certain distance from where they heads towards runway.how they manage this air traffic. I'm not sure I understand the question, but every airport has a traffic pattern that for small aircraft is 1000' above runway level and there are various methods for entering the pattern depending on the airport, geography, etc. Aircraft that are making instrument approaches fly a specific or assigned altitude to a point some number of miles out, where they establish the approach and fly the appropriate airspeed, heading and descent rate until its time for them to land the plane. If 28 is in use, then OAK is using 29 for the jetliners and they will be at 1,300 MSL 1 mile from 10R/28L at HWD.
