What made me notice the bulges was the cover picture of the Feb 2008 issue of Air and Space Smithsonian ( http://www.airspacemag.com/ ) where they really stand out. I'd never noticed them before. I've never seen many Spits; they're relatively rare on this side of the pond. Tom |
