Flying to Galveston (GLS)

If anyone can offer suggestions as to a good place for lunch and any
peculiarities about the airport, I sure would appreciate it. Also, any
suggestions regarding transportation would also be appreciated - car
rental is too expensive for just a few hours :-(.
