never heard of any of these, don't really care if I ever do, though. I
liked the movie, it's an interesting story, but one which over-
glorifies the true nature of the Brit's accomplishments in the war.

Speaking of smart-ass:
If you had read the original post, you would have read that this
re-enactment/celebration was done at this location because this dam was used
in the development of the system and techniques used in the actual raids. I
don't think Rusty was being a smart ass at all. He was simply making a note
that if someone wanted more information, they could locate it using Google.
You may want to take that suggestion since your self proclaimed minimal
familiarity is lacking. As far as "over glorifying the true nature of the
Brit's accomplishments in the war", I think they earned a lot of glory and
should never be slammed by a true smart ass.

you all you need to know about it. The last time this was done was 15 years
ago so we may have to wait a long time for another.

I know a lot of WWII vets and I'm glad they did this at an unusual
anniversary since most of them probably won't make it to 70 or 75. Let's
all go out and thank them for the freedoms they've preserved for us.
