have you tried contacting American Champion Aircraft?
they build the Citibria and offer tow releases as an option. Citabria
Purchasing the hook from American Champion is the simplist I have done
or had this done twice in the past few years. Since it is then original equipment it only takes a mechanics signature that it has been installed and an adjustment to the Weight and Balance. Brian
