Yeah mate if your in OZ and using Optus as I am, you will only get local
stuff at the moment, as I am. There is an outage at the moment. They said it will be about 48 hours till is is back to normal. That was Saturday. Thanks Stretch,
I'd noticed a handful of local posts (including my own), but nothing else. I've called Optusnet twice now. The first time, they tried to tell me that they didn't support newsgroups (what bull ****!) and the second time they claimed there was nothing wrong (more BS). Chris "Stretch" wrote in message u... NNTP is just as much of a service as FTP or HTTP. Any ISP who thinks otherwise clearly doesn't have a clue.
