I'm familiar with "we don't rent airplanes to over 70s" which would be a potential workaround the FAA. Apples and oranges. What a private business does within the framework of discrimination laws is entirely up to the private business. The FBO may not rent to over 70 (never heard of such a thing in airplanes), but the airport certainly can't ban over 70.
