Tell us about the cluster bombs which were dropped all over. Each
cluster bomb separates and releases hundreds of smaller bomblets which
a large percentage doesn't explode. Many chidren have been killed by
picking up this ordinance.


How many children have been killed by picking up this ordinance? How long
are the bomblets active after this ordnance is dropped?

Not really "Forever", but for a very long time.
I read a newspaper article a couple of weeks ago regarding people still
being killed an injured in Laos from cluster bomblets from about 40
years ago. Apparently some of them look very attractive for child's play.

So the US dropped the same ordnance during OIF that it dropped during the
unpleasantness in southeast Asia?
