Blue/black airframe, Union jack stripes painted along the fuse, St Andrews
cross on the empenage. This is the best view I have of it, but the model
people always *******ize the markings and I wanted to see where it departed
from the original design. I have an F-4 ducted fan that has both Navy and
Army markings on it. Anyhow here's a link to show you what scheme I was
talking about.

That on the "empenage" or empennage is, in fact, the union flag *not*
the cross of St Andrew which forms a part of it!

Of course, you're right, it is the Jack. The Cross is part of it, of
course. We have part of it as well.
Yeah we got the cross in the Fla state flag. The Great Seal of Florida on
the center where the bars cross. When you hang the flag (which is a solid
white background field) up by one end, it looks like a pair of suspenders
(bg).

Ah, that's American suspenders rather than British ones I take it?

;-)

The only shame is that Wales is not represented on our flag. No, I'm not
Welsh, but they deserve better in that respect.

Old man suspenders. don't think they have any particular group in mind
lol

Agreed about Wales. You don't hear much about Wales, no Robert the Bruce or
William Wallace, they really are the Rodney Dangerfield of the British
Isles.

You obviously missed the point of my comment.

Well, they did have Owen Glendower!
