Thanks for the post, and your pioneer work.
I suggest you to include a link to your original size video on your home page. I think this is quite a different viewing experience than the embedded player. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LipeSXXe1Yk&fmt=22 Considering the ubiquity of digital recording devices these days, IMO, the right thing to happen is for glider manufactures to offer camera mounting/cable handling as a built-in option. Stemme has an option to amount HD video camera on the gear strut, but I'd like to have one on the tail and wingtip as well. Then, the faint-of-hears like me can shoot nice videos like these! -Gen On May 1, 11:14*pm, Bruno wrote: On Apr 26, 4:57*pm, MX Junkie wrote: On Apr 26, 8:04*am, Bruno wrote: Check out a few new soaring videos I made flying in northern Utah and southern Idaho testing out a couple of new small HD video cameras and cameramounts on my ASW20. *In the newest video you will see that I was able to better stabilize the tail cam for virtually nocamera shake compared to the April 18 video. *You can see what it looks like around Morgan and Logan Utah where there is a new regional contest being held in August for the first time. I will put a note on my page how to view the videos on full screen. First, click the HD button to get better quality. Then click the button to the right of the HD and it will open it up on full screen mode. I am really excited to share my next video. I ran the Logan, UT ridge yesterday just at ridge line and it was spectacular! This video should be interesting for those who have not flown out of Logan yet and might be interested in seeing what it is like - big mountains, good length ridge line, amazing scenery. I need a few more days to edit the video and will post and update when it is done. I haven't gotten up the guts to put the wing tip cam on yet. One thing at a time. ![]() Bruno |
