Contest NOTAM
Yes, especially if the field is not a dedicated gliderport. This has
always been done, iirc, at the regionals at Parowan.

True, but in the case of Parowan I believe the NOTAM was required not because there was a contest, but because the airport was closed at certain times of the day because there was a contest. In any case It's a good idea to use a NOTAM to make other pilots aware of the contest activity. Andy
