I totally agree on the angle: wider is better! The human brain gets its sense sense of speed from things rushing past in your peripheral vision. That means having a wide field of view when you record things. Many cameras cut off too much of the peripheral view. The Drift Innovation guys just released a new camera that can do 170 degrees at full 1080p.
