It WAS true - at one time. The BD5 was the smallest jet by quite bit. Before the CriCri showed up... Must have been about nine or ten years ago, someone's BD-5J performed at an Armed Forces Day air show at Whidbey Island Naval Air Station. I think the show moderator called it the World's smallest Jet, but memory is a fragile thing. I think I have pictures somewhere, but darned computer won't cough 'em up. Old Chief Lynn |
