Hi guys, I'm looking for a sliding dump handle idea, it needs to travel 2 inches, maybe a notched plate with a handle....any ideas or drawings? GL Is sliding the key requirement? Many dump systems I've seen use a simple swinging lever that has the cable attached slightly off-center. The full travel is 2x the radius of the lever arm, so you only need a one inch arm to get your two inches of travel. The over-center leverages the tension in the system to keep the valve in the desired position (e.g valve closing). There's often a spring that allows for some slop in the system as well. I'll draw one up and email it to you... |
