Planning for Summer
Salida Co (KANK) is 5'ish hour drive north of Santa fe. See http://www.airsafetynet.com/rates_2014.html for tow information. On a decent day you should be able to easily launch from ABQ and fly there. Plenty of mountain flying to be had there. In that time period, there could be a number of other glider there flying daily so you shouldn't be alone.

Thanks!
We flew Salida last June and had a great time. When I was at Black Forest, the club had a couple of camps there. And Salida's already on our list. Just looking for something different.
