Recently acquired an ASG-29 (ASW-27-18)and unable to mount O2 regulator on bottle behind seat back. Not enough room with seat back in aft position. How have other 27/29 owners solved this problem? Flex high pressure line? If so, where was it purchased? Thanks Contact John Murray at Eastern Sailplane. As the former Schleicher dealer for many years he has both the experience and the O2 bottles to help you. Take a D steel cylinder, but not every D cylinder will work. John measures the cylinders and keeps the ones that work. MH has a Kevlar cylinder Which is smaller than the allotted space, which will work when wrapped with foam or vacuumed packed survival kit and is much lighter than the steel, but a bit small for western flying. |
