Absolutely impressive and very nice! Seems to me the ultimate toy :-) From the engine specs, I see that it eats about 140 kg/h at full throttle. I suppose that you converted the wing ballast tanks to hold the kerosen? At sea level. At the typical altitudes in the mountains, that'd be anywhere from 70-110 kg/hr. Saw-toothing, that'd be pretty impressive range, even with modest fuel. |

It's so loud. Can you put a silencer on it? I'm just sayin to me "quiet" is part of the whole sailplane attraction.
