Yes.
I have a TT-22 and PowerFLARM portable and it works as you asked. I've identified another glider by his contest call sign whereas he's only been able to see my ICAO address since he's not yet downloaded the latest flarmnet database. But did he see your ID because it was coming from your PowerFlarm or did he see it because it was coming from the transponder??? That is the question. What you saw in this case is not a factor. Mark |

Forgot that part. I do not see myself because the PF is set up with my
ICAO address therefore it suppresses my own transponder.
