Hobbs, 2019 18M/Open Class Nats Friday 6/21 am report
For the following reasons, today has been cancelled at 11:30 am
~We are gridded in a downwind take off situation which will require an elephant walk, taking at least an hour. ~End of day expected to be around 5:30pm ~Looking at 70 degree crosswind at 70 knots, crosswind runway at Hobbs, unusable ~At landing time 90 degree crosswind at 20-25 knots ~Reluctant tow pilots Posted by Leigh
