Probably not. But why bother? Simply removing the paint from an aluminum
spinner and polishing the bare metal is relatively easy and inexpensive.
You can even do it yourself, since it's not a control surface. Properly
polished, the bare aluminum will be almost as shiny as chrome. The only
(very minor) negative is that aluminum is more prone to staining, so you
will have to polish a bit more frequently than you would with chrome.

We did this a couple of years ago on our Arrow, with good results. The
whole effort took about one day using a kit we got at OSH.

Better yet. Get some good polish and hand rub it to a nice shine.
During the WHOLE process wear gloves so the acids in your skin doesn't
get on the surface. Wrap it in a clean towel and look in the local
phone book under powdercoating. There will be several if ya live in a
decent sized town. Find the one who is the most reasonable. Take it to
him and have them clear powdercoat it.The stuff is bulletproof and
will not alter the metal. Remind the guys doing the work to wear
gloves while handling it too. It should cost somewhere in the
25.00-35.00 dollar range.
