ABC news already published the fan's name and his neighbor's name. Not
to hard to use yahoo to figure out his home address and phone number.
They also published his work location. This guy better pray that they
win tonight or he's going to have to move to Florida.

It was just on the news that Governor Jeb Bush has tongue-in-cheek offered
the poor guy relocation and safe haven in Florida...

It's also on the news that one resort has seriously offered him three months
board if he needs to hide.

To a pilot, altitude is like money - it is possible that having too much
could prove embarassing, but having too little is always fatal.

The Meigs Field Curse has already started.

After things were going so well, and Daley moved the troops in during
the dark of night to destroy the lovely little airport, it seems
Chicago is totally and completely screwed. Convention activity is
down (the McCormick center is adjacent to Meigs Field, wonder why
companies are resistent to coming to a downtown that is no longer
convenient); the White Sox were doing very well, just like Meigs, and
folded at the end; the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry built a
replica Wright Flyer...it didn't fly...just dribbled off the end of
the rail; the Cubs are playing at night, which because of the Meigs
Field Curse and Daley's nighttime evil, the Cubs will appear to be
doing well....

Don't forget out pathatic Bears. Let's see- we've got no offensive
line, no running game, out QB is running around like a chicken with
it's head cut off. Our run defense couldn't stop a peewee team from
averaging 5 yards a carry, and we have no pass-rush. Good news is we
have a good FG kicker.

Of course, they're playing in the eyesore on the lake, srongarmed into
existance by Dick Daley the same way as Miegs Field (after the last
fan left Soldier Field at the end of the 2001 playoff loss to
Philidelphia, the construction crews started tearing up the field,
even though there were still court cases pending over the legality of
the renovation)

On another note, The Fan doesn't need to go to Florida for safe haven.
South of Madison is just fine; not everyone in Chicago is a Cubs fan.
Most of us Sox fans just kind of chukeled after that one.

Reading some 1918 (hehehe on both teams this year) Cubs vs Boston World
Series history - it said the Cubs played their 1918 World Series Home games
at Comiskey Park, because it had more seats than Wrigley Field.

What I don't understand is how can one fowl ball being "missed" result in 8
runs???? If that is all it took to make the Cubs lay down and die, they
shouldn't have been in the play offs to begin with. I'm I missing something
here. I love those Marlins :-) !!!!

Maybe their blaming this fan relates to much of society today - "It's not my
fault". Kinda like spilling hot coffee in your lap while your driving a car
......

No, you aren't missing anything. Not anly are they so incompetent at the game
that they allow the other team to scoe 8 runs, they are immature enough to blame
it on their fans.
