Are you sure you aren't thinking of the Blohm & Voss BV 141
reconnaissance plane?

http://www.warbirdsresourcegroup.org/LRG/bv141.html

Yes, of course. Blohm und Voss not Messerschmit. Senile dementia strikes
again.

Not the prettiest plane in the Luftwaffe, was it? What were thay thing
of to build an abortion like that?

Don't tell me, committee decision on the Orders of Der Fuhrer.

At the National Soaring Museum we have over 75 gliders, and pictures of
many more.

There are no ugly gliders.

In Russia we have a saying (It could be Poland)

There are no ugly women, there is only lack of vodka.

Probably a major brain aberration amongst the B&V directors because they
had a whole raft of oddball designs, many of them asymmetric. I once saw
a page full of thumbnails....

Sorry, but I don't have a reference for that.

And when it first arrived in Australia they call it the LARRIKIN .....
a mischievous kid.

And how many gliders/designs of similar or better performance came out
of Australia???
In Poland we also have a similar name for anyone who comments but can't
perform any better...

Bit prejudiced against Poland, aren't we....did you already forgot how
you abandoned Poland, who supposed to be your allied, during WW II to
Hitler and then to Stalin? Do I have to remind you of the Polish pilots
helping to save London? And their superior flying skills? And you dare
to bring some garbage statements about Russia and vodka? And then you
are throwing Poland into this equation? I have heard, I believe on the
BBC News (isn't that English TV?) that England is leading the world in
deaths related to liver cirrhosis...so, maybe your stupid comments
about Poles and vodka are little bit out of place? And, since you are
the Alpha & Omega, maybe you can design your own glider....best L/D
55,000 at Mach 1.2 speed...this is really shame because I have quite a
few friends in England and you are only giving them a black eye. You
don't resemble the cool Brits that I know. And then you can throw your
racist garbage out of flying sailplanes.
