Default GEL-GLOSS cleaner?

Has anyone had any experience with GEL-GLOSS cleaner on their plane? I
think they sell it at Lowe's and some other stores.

Some guy during the standard rainy afternoon hangar talk said he uses it on
his plane and it works great as a cleaner and is much cheaper than aviation
cleaner.

Any thoughts from anyone?

Thanks.

Some marine gel coat cleaners are very abrasive. Don't know about the
product you are talking about but I would be careful. It might clean well
at the cost of rapidly grinding away your paint. Gel coats are much thicker
than paint.

Well, yes.

I wouldn't use any non-aviation cleaner on an airplane. They surely
aren't tested for aircraft or aluminum and might well end up corroding
your plane.
