F.S: Dornier DO28 B-1 aircraft
We have 8 of these aircraft for sale. They were manufactured between
1965 and 1971 and were in service until Feb. 2005. Located in Israel, they can be restored for flight or used for spare parts. The aircraft are supplied with standard radio and navigation equipment, and there is a limited number of spare parts available; for this reason the prospective purchaser would be advised to consider acquiring more than one aircraft. I'd like to see one up close. http://www.highgallery.com/WorldAircraft/Germany/Reconnaissance-Observation/GermanyReonnaissance.html This one looks like a much larger plane than the others - 2nd pic from bottom. http://makeashorterlink.com/?D276138BC From airliners.net ...wait for it. http://makeashorterlink.com/?N286618BC From airliners.net ...wait for it. http://makeashorterlink.com/?B296328BC From airliners.net ...wait for it. Dornier DO28 B-1 aircraft
Montblack,
Really loud, really old design. But they are kind of cool. We have the last German flying one at our field. Actually, some of the links you post seem to show a smaller, different type. The single engine variant is the Do-27 http://www.do27.com/do27/index.htm. And the (very much) modernized and much bigger follow-up is the Do-228 http://www.dornier228.de/. -- Thomas Borchert (EDDH) |
