Default LoPresti Fury

Is there any new news on the Fury at Sun n Fun or otherwise?

With the few times I put anyone in the backseat, I am thinking it might be a
good next plane for me.

I always thought that was going to be a great plane, but since LoPresti Sr.
died, I think it's been pretty much shelved, or at least back burnered.
Still a nice plane to dream about, though...

No news this year. The last time I was in Vero Beach I had a
Lopresti cowl put on my Grumman Tiger. One of his Sons has the
Fury but I don't know what is going on. I also heard something
about Aviat in Wyoming was trying to do something with it. Don't
know for sure just rumor. I owned a Meyers 145 modified with a
Continental IO 360 in it and the Swift guys would let me park
with them at flyins in Colorado because It was an Orphan. Look up
the Meyers 145 since there were 20 made. Some have Upgraded
engines and they gooooooo. 145 KTS @ 9.5 FPH. Micco is what
the new ones were produced as. Changed the wing and fouled up
the Airplane performance.
