Default Cambridge variometer

I don't know that model number, but it is the vario that comes with the
L-Nav system. Does anyone know how to open it and adjust the needle
position. Mine is now showing 2 kts up.

Just crack your spoilers open a little when you are flying, that should
fix the problem.

Hi,

It is possible to do basic calibration using the L-NAV LCD display screen
(the main unit). The online L-NAV demo I created a few years ago says:

"Hold the GO key and LEFT or RIGHT arrow key to go to the Configure,
Calibrate and Defaults screens."
Then press the left button until the screen says "Calibrate" and press the
Go button.
Then press the right button until the screen says "Variometer".
Then use the up and down arrows to adjust the offset.

If that doesn't work you may have to send it to CAI for calibration.

Good Soaring,
