![]() Curtiss Helldiver, tested by the FAA in 1944 but turned down flat. One squadron was equipped with these aircraft but was quickly disbanded. As I learned when I last posted this photo about 5 years ago, all 26 Helldivers delivered to the FAA were built by Canada Car and Foundry and were designated by the USN as SBW-1B, equivalent to the Curtiss SB2C-1C |
