You might like "Bogeys and Bandits" which covers a class of F-18
trainees that includes at least a single Marine. I didn't think much
of the book - reads too much like a made-for-TV movie in some spots,
and I didn't like how the author handled the whole "women in combat
roles" issue. Otherwise AFAIK it's probably accurate enough.

U. S. Marine and Naval officers go through the same Naval Aviator flight
training.
