The span of two floats is probably wider than the legal road
width in most states.

That's the silliest thing I've seen in awhile. If you'd ever seen a true
"wide load" on the highway, you'd know better than to write something like
that.

Why not just disagree and leave it at that? Are personal attacks
really necessary?

Because others are not. Additionally, it wastes time and bandwidth,
