The best looking fighter of WWII! (P-36es were at Pearl Harbour)

Oh, you can have your Spitfires and your Mustangs. The classic lines of
this bird are unsurpassed. The conversion to V-12 for the P-40 may have
extended the useful life of the design but ruined the aesthetics.

All just my humble opinion, of course

Imho ,P-40s are like Hurricanes :they did a tremendous "work" during the war
,but Spitfires and Mustangs have stolen them the show (sorry my English is
not perfect ^^).
They were not the best planes ,but without them History would have been
slightly different ^^
