![]() Hoping somebody here who understands US Army unit structure better than I (this would include most everyone on the planet as well as many multi-cellular lifeforms...) might help on the operator for this UH-60L that came through Boeing Field a couple days ago. I'm guessing it might be based at Fort Lewis a few tens of miles south of Seattle, and perhaps Army Reserve or Washington Army National Guard - and thinking the patch on the engine housing is a Big Clue - but I'm still drawing a blank. Coinkydinkally, one web source indicates this aircraft served with the Colombian Air Force for a spell in the 1990s, which might account for the repainted patch on the tail boom and unusually located "United States Army" text.
