AD's on Experimental A/C by
moby
Maybe this topic has been brought up here before, But do
homebuilt/experimental aircraft have to comply with Airworthiness Directives
set forth by the FAA? specifically, I have a lycoming O-290G model engine in
my airplane and since that engine was not designed for aircraft use, I
wonder If I have...

Oshkosh non flying female spousal events? by
Ken Finney
I'm planning on going to Oshkosh with my wife, who isn't too interested in
airplanes in general. I figured there had to be events scheduled for
"non-flying female type spouses/SOs", but the official brochure doesn't
mention any. Can anyone point me towards what is out there?

chicken thief by
Del Rawlins
It's a good thing that El Pollo Loco did his deed in Florida rather than
Murphy, Oregon. It looks like those people take chicken theft pretty
seriously:

MII Driver
Looking for an inexpensive panel lights dimmer. I would like to try
PWM, but need to install in the positive lead circuit, since post
lights ground at the mount.
Any advice?

Fiberglass / Mold release advice requested by
Mark Zivley
Note: remove the second "hot" in my "reply to" to email directly
I'm working on a project to fabricate a fairing to cover a small
protrusion. I've made a mold (external) that I now want to cover with a
mold release agent and then put fiberglass on top of. Ideally I'd like
to be able to remove...

diesel 160-200HP engines by
geo
Here's an interesting new diesel engine with much lower operating costs.
Looks like it would fill the bill for a Glass Goose (which I'm considering)
very nicely. Waddya think? http://www.deltahawkengines.com/object00.htm

Glasair instructor wanted. by
Thomas
Hi,
I am looking for instructor that has experience in Glasair I RG type
planes...... I had 10 hours of instruction in my Glasair I RG but I
am still having trouble flaring the plane properly over the runway
where I would chop the power just a foot above which cause it to sink
and jolt the plane....

Hexadyne P60 engine by
Neal Fulco
Does anyone have any experience / info about the Hexadyne P-60 engine.
I'm trying to make a comparison between that engine and the HKS-700E
engine ( both 60 h.p. ) There is a good bit of info about the HKS
engine floating around on the Web, but very little on the P-60. The
P-60 is a little...

Auto conversions & gear boxes by
Dave Covert
I notice that most auto engine conversions use a gear box between the engine
and the prop. Why is that? Is it because an auto engine's peak HP is too
high for a prop to swing? Is it because auto engines weren't designed to be
pulled around by their crankshafts and don't have proper thrust...

In the spirit of that, How about posting your costs for this service on this

MT Props w/Electric Pitch Control by
x
Anyone care to comment on using one of MT's composite blade props with
electric pitch control?
Eggenfellner seems to really want you to use this prop with his Subaru
setup.
I'm a bit concerned both with a composite prop and an electric pitch
control.
