Default TSA's mistaken move in easing security delays for frequent fliers

It sounds like a great idea. I would sign up for it today but its not
offered at my local airport. I can't see anything wrong with allowing
those that submit to a complete background check to go through "pre
9/11" security (metal detector etc), vs. what we go through today. I've
often spent more than 45 minutes waiting in line at airports waiting
for all this extra security.

Remember that background checks only determine part of a subjects history.
IIRC, other than expired visas, the 9/11 hijackers would have passed
background checks.
