I can't see anything wrong with allowing those that submit to a complete background check to go through "pre 9/11" security (metal detector etc), vs. what we go through today. I've often spent more than 45 minutes waiting in line at airports waiting for all this extra security. Remember that background checks only determine part of a subjects history. IIRC, other than expired visas, the 9/11 hijackers would have passed background checks. |
