Sure. When piloting a cargo plane, it is not necessary to make
announcements like, "Good morning ladies and gentlemen, this is your Captain speaking. Please fasten your seatbelts and pay attention to the flight attendants as they review the Emergency Procedures." You may still, however, make such announcements if you so desire.
