I can't open eml files.

eml files are basically text. Open them in Notepad. You'll wade
through lots of junk (headers and such), but you'll see the message.
You may need to ignore HTML tags too.

Programs that recognize the junk for what it is and where in the file
it is can separate the various headers and attachments out. But you
can do this manually if you must (for example, for an attached file)
and feed it to an appropriate decoder.
