Some years ago interesting images about the new "gull winged" glider Albatros
started circling the web. It was one of the most interestign designs over long time and imho still is. Anyone knows the fate of the program? This project is one that Hanko Streifeneder started about 6 years ago. For various reasons it is still not finished. the fuselage is done, complete with electric driven retracting main wheel. Hanko has a lot of projects going on and the Albatross is just one. There are pictures on his web site in the "technical info" section. http://www.streifly.de/ Hanko and his very talented son Christian are among the top inovaters in the world of composite aircraft technology.
