The size is not a problem, because the seal consists of many smaller pieces. What does it mean "coated ropstop" ? |

Ripstop nylon has heavier threads every few millimeters to help stop rips
from propagating in the fabric. Coated means that a coating (typically urethane) has been added to stop air and/or water from passing through the fabric.
