What a total waste of life. He admitted no responsibility. He said he
didn't do anything wrong. Apparently, just entering the restricted airspace wasn't enough to show him that **SOMETHING** he did must have been wrong!! What an idiot. If it were me, (and I'm going to D.C. tomorrow), I'd lay down real quick, say I'm sorry, say my preflight and in flight management were obviously not good enough, and play the innocent person who made a bad mistake and take my lumps. I think this guy suspects he won't live long enough to get through this suspension. He's pretty old.! -Robert, CFI
