If all you were doing is sitting back and enjoying the ride, yes - you are allowed to just sit back and enjoy the ride. However, in this case the other guy was at the controls and flying the aircraft. If I was going somewhere and was at the controls I would expect, regardless of who was PIC, to have some basic idea of where I was going and the route used to get there and not just rely on the other guy to say something along the lines of "head thataway for a while, I'll let you know." |
